Angela

Angela Joy grew up in North West Montana, and recently moved to Dexter, Michigan
with her family. She graduated from New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics '08 (NMSNT) located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In fall '08, she received her birth doula training through DONA. Since then, she has been practicing integrated massage therapy/bodywork and also attending births of women from her community.

Angela Joy is a licensed massage therapist, and holds the national certification from NCTMB. Also, she received the title Natural Therapeutics Specialist (NTS) from NMSNT for her studies of various holistic modalities. She is trained in the following modalities: Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reflexology, Polarity Therapy, Prenatal & Postpartum Massage and Healing Hot Stone Massage. Angela Joy practices Therapeutic Massage & Integrated Bodywork using aspects of different modalities to assist the body in releasing, relaxing and balancing.

Angela Joy and her partner Jordan Boyce welcomed their fist child Brer Lumen into this world June 2010. They as a family enjoy camping, being at the lakes, cooking meals, walks, movies, reading, hiking, gardening and laughing together.
